Let your imagination grow
This is my extra credit for graphic design before finals. What I want you to learn from this is that imagination and creativity are endless, even at hopeless times.

Ice Chill Design
So in class we are working on a new project where we are the designer and the company that is hiring the design. The product Ice Chill are mints that give you a cool fresh breath. The figures on top right are my logo and on top left is my pattern. I got the idea of the pattern from burberry and the colors from seeklogo.com. Just think of the the snow flake and words on the pattern and that's how the product would look like.

JMC Graphic Design
So in graphic design, we were supposed to make a business card for our new graphic design company. It's brief, serious, and elegant. On my next project I'm supposed to make a product and print out the design for the product.

Pattern
Today in Graphic Design Ms. Klein show us this turtorial on how to make a pattern. It's really simply, like boiling with warm water. You start off by using object, then hover you mouse to click on make. When you see a blue box on the art board then all you have to do is make a shape, put it in the box, then go crazy with the pattern options. If you want to keep it then save it to the swatch panel. That's all you have to do.

Farmers Insurance Group
So this is Farmers Insurance Group's new logo. They asked me and I said yes. They loved my work, especially the starburst wheel behind the sheild and they thought my color scheme was crazy awesome. The whole strong yet playful was really bringing out what the company was telling to their customers.

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween everyone! This Project may not make Martha Stewart green with envy, but it was the most difficutlt so far. The back ground was hard to do mostly because in some items in graphic design there isn't one that says 'Here's gradient background! Enjoy'. There's a chain of buttons that leads to this or any certain object that is used to help in graphic design.
What was really hair pulling to me was the grave stones. Those two uneven bumps near the bats were supposed to look like grave stones, but with my amazing background that consist of a red sky and a pitch black background, they don't show. And I worked hard on those grave stones, it's not easy trying to figure out how to use Opacity Mask.

Mess
This I think is pretty cool and it didn't take me long either. I think the hardest thing to do on the project was the prespective on the name. Other than that it was easy.

Jenn
This is my best so far. It compact and creative. I used the grey/purple shape to add design to the picture. I remember using the translucent shapes in the Lily pad picture, it proved to be useful in this.

Snowboard
So this is my Snow board picture. I used a picture from the link on the website. I'm sorry that it's cut off, I was fiishing it up during advocate on a new illustrator and I guess my illustrator and the new one didn't share the same save equipment. I the hope the color scheme worked together though, that's my favorite in the picture.

Lilly pads
You do NOT wanna know what I've been throught tho make this right. It was so hard for me to make the lilly pads and the flower petals. Using colors wasn't so bad but if I didn't have any help then this pond would sure be a different color. It's like Illustrator was telling me 'So you're working hard on this picture, allow me to make things worse.'. But with a lot of help and some luck I made it.

Basketball star
This guy was very hard to do. I mean you have Ctrl + Z to redo your mistakes, but there are moments when I was working with the computer and it tells me it's not good enoungh to copy his hair because I didn't capture ALL of the pin points. The basket-ball was also hard because when I was following the instructions, the illustrator wouldn't delete all of the lines on the basket-ball, No it just had to delete the whole thing execpt some small circle that wasn't even covering the basket-ball.

Viva Las Vegas
So this is what I've done to the welcome to Las Vegas sign. It took me longer than I expected because I didn't get used to all of the artistic styles that were helpful in the project. It take style and technique to make copy off a sign. You have to do you best to be exact or other wise people will notice the little mistakes.

Glyph monster by Jenn Chastka
http://www.cases2k.com/img/vampire_smiley_face_speckcase-p176768085084225251vu1e1_300.jpg
This glyph monster was a little difficult to make, I had to double click most of the glyphs on the illustrator, but the harderst part for me is organizing the glyphs. I told one of my friends that putting the glyphs in the right place is like putting thread through a needle.

Stanly Kubrick quote by Jenn Chastka
I choose red for the word 'A' because red is a passionate color and I wanted this quote to start out with passion. the word 'music' is purple because it's a bold color and that what the color I think of when I think of music. The word 'fiction' is teal because it’s sophisticated and the word doesn’t bring fantasy and adventure, it brings ideas and creativity, I didn’t want to make this quote a joke so I thought teal would be a good solution. The word 'themeis blue because the color resembles thruth and unity which is something I wanted the bring in the sentence. The word 'what's' is purple because I wanted to continue with the boldness in the sentence. The word 'emotion' is blue because it's the color of truth and in that quote, the word 'emotion' seemed to tie all the words together.
